The combination of our in-depth scientific knowledge in drug metabolism and mass spectrometry, extensive pharmaceutical industry experiences, and advanced software, we are able to quickly identify metabolites in both in vivo and in vitro samples.

An unknown sample and a matrix blank sample are injected into LC-MS/MS with MS1 scan. The mass chromatograms from the two samples are compared and the masses and retention times of potential metabolites are identified by software. The unknown sample is injected again with product ion scan to obtain the product ion spectra of the potential metabolites. The fragmentation of a potential metabolite is then compared with that of the parent compound to check whether the potential metabolite is related to the parent compound and to deduct the structure of the potential metabolite.

We are able to identify metabolites in plasma, urine, and various tissue samples.
